UPDATE; ARE WE FREE?????

Slavery was becoming the issue amongst the American people in the 1830s.  William Lloyd Garrison was the founder of  “The Liberator.”  http://www.ushistory.org/us/28a.aspThis publication was designed to speak out against slavery, the vanguard for abolition.  I would like to point out here, btw, that it was white European American’s along with Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, and the Republican Party that declared freedom for black slaves, in fact Buchanan, the 15th President of the United States, a Democrat was a supporter of  slavery.  You know how things turned out, the Republican party not only held the Union together, it would free the slaves.

Sometime in the 1830’s , In Hudson Ohio, a preacher spoke to his worshipers, “the question now before us is no longer can slaves be made free, but are we free, or are we slaves of mob law?  It was @ that service when Abolitionist John Brown pledged to free the slaves.  ARE WE FREE? About 13 yrs ago I worked in a car dealership, and a friend of mine, a black women, burst out loud one day, “now I know where the slave owners ended up, owning car dealerships.”  I don’t know for sure, but somehow I think she was speaking for all of us, white, Hispanic, Asian, black and so on.

You chew on that thought for a while, my blog/book on the destruction of the middle class will b out right before Christmas.  There I will get into much more detail on this subject.  But for a short answer to that question, in my opinion, NO, WE ARE NOT FREE?

(Btw. WE=The middle to upper middle income earners in this country.)  In my view, world aristocrats, bankers, and world Governments are returning us back to the dark ages, bringing all their money, technology, and modern day medicine along with them.

Just think, who controls your mortgage, who controls the food u eat, who controls ur utilities, who controls ur money, who controls how u fly, how u drive? if u can drive. Let’s take driving for example, did u ever stop, no pun intended, to think about how much stress there is in driving? btw state Govt, Federal Govt, it’s all the same.

Notwithstanding, u have to fasten ur seat belt. You must obey all traffic signs, always have to check ur surroundings and ur speed, there is always the threat of some cop whose anal, to pull u over for something. Because let’s face it that’s all cops do now, they always arrive at the scene to late, crime goes on, and all they seem to b there for is to collect revenue for the state. Anyway, I could go on and on and on. Like driving when u stop to think about the details of ur daily lives, and u realize this is not the America our Founders had in mine, not to mention WE THE PEOPLE had in mind.

And us ole timers know what life was like before Govt completely took control of it. My mind can not wrap around how much freedom we’ve lost. I don’t feel free. Does anyone remember life before seat-belt laws, and open beer bottle law?????? This isn’t an King O problem, this is a FEDERAL GOVT PROBLEM. IN order for our survival as a people, and I mean this very strongly, WE must dismantle the TOWER OF THE FEDERAL GOVT. Our existence is not sustainable otherwise. I may just a dumb humble country boy, but this P8triat Country boy knows when he isn’t free any longer. If anyone thinks otherwise please share.

OUR FOUNDERS WORDS OF WISDOM!

The burden of the national debt consists not in its being so many millions, or so many hundred millions, but in the quantity of taxes collected every year to pay the interest. If this quantity continue the same, the burden of the national debt is the same to all intents and purposes, be the capital more or less.

-Thomas Paine

“The jaws of power are always open to devour, and her arm is always stretched out, if possible, to destroy the freedom of thinking, speaking, and writing.”
John Adams

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.”

John Adams

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

John Adams (The Works of John Adams, ed. C. F. Adams, Boston: Little, Brown Co., 1851, 4:31)

“If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Samuel Adams

“He therefore is the truest friend to the liberty of this country who tries most to promote its virtue, and who, so far as his power and influence extend, will not suffer a man to be chosen into any office of power and trust who is not a wise and virtuous man….The sum of all is, if we would most truly enjoy this gift of Heaven, let us become a virtuous people.”

Samuel Adams
