The truth is, 2005 economically was above average and sound, one of the best economies on record, if not the best, chk it yourself, moreover, it was Excellent  for Govt Revenue, in the spring of 2005 they had a record breaker in tax revenue.

And if you recall, the dumicrats started a campaign bashing bush, and calling the economy a disaster. It worked, subsequently Nancy Pelosi and her gang of misfits took over in 2006, and that was the last/end of the best economy on record for the U.S. to this day.
